The LHVC4 is a variable manual controller for adjusting infrared heat output from 240V using a ‘phase angle’ control. Additionally, it comes equipped with a built-in surge protector, enhancing its utility for controlling short-wave infrared applications, It also has an inherent in-rush current on start-ups.

Product Specifications

This 3kW infra-red dimmer is simple and effective in controlling the output of infra-red heaters up to a 3kW load. To adjust the power input and regulate the heat output, simply turn the control knob from ‘off’ to 100%.

The compact unit has dimensions of 150mm x 80mm x 50mm and sports a stylish, professional black finish. It is easy to install by a qualified electrician or competent person.

Phase angle control, equipped with an integral RFI filter and a built-in surge protector, actively regulates the power to ensure compliance with CE EMC requirements.

To reduce electrical stress and increase reliability an advanced snubberless 25A high surge triac is installed.

A single controller can regulate three 1KW, two 1.5KW or one 3KW heater.
