Description – 3kW Infra-red Heater Controller/Dimmer with Surge Protection.

Leisure Heating Brand 3kW Controller without pre-drilled holes or glands. The LHVC4 is a variable manual controller for adjusting infrared heat output from 240V using a ‘phase angle’ control.  It also has a built-in surge protector making it particularly useful for the control of short-wave infra-red which has an inherent in-rush current on start-up.

Product Specifications

This 3kW infra-red dimmer simply and effectively controls the output of infra-red heaters up to a 3kW load. Power input is adjusted by a knob, regulating the heat output. The compact unit measures 150mm x 80mm x 50mm and is black. Easily installed by a qualified electrician or competent person.

PLEASE NOTE:  This version is supplied without pre-drilled holes or glands. It will require two 20mm holes drilled in the diecast back box at the bottom or lower sides to accommodate glands for the input and output cables. Glands are not supplied.
