This long-wave infrared emitter is designed to fit most pet and reptile heaters utilizing Edison (E27) screw lamps. It offers versatility, allowing you to use it with or without a reflector. However, when used without a reflector, caution must be exercised to prevent direct contact between the emitter and the animal.

Rated at 150W and operating at 240V, this emitter is specifically crafted for nighttime heating in small to medium-sized pet enclosures and vivariums. It serves as an excellent choice for providing direct, gentle nighttime warmth to cat and dog bedding areas.

Dull Emitters are particularly well-suited for reptiles due to their lightless output. It’s important to note that many reptiles, including tortoises and turtles, possess a broader range of colour perception than humans. In contrast, Dull Emitters exclusively emit long-wave infrared heat, completely devoid of any visible spectrum.
